Yes, certified lifeguards are on duty during all open swim hours and program sessions. Safety is our top priority at the Gilroy CHS Aquatics Center.

The activity pool is maintained at 83°F and the competition pool at 81–82°F. Temperatures may vary slightly depending on weather conditions.

We offer swim lessons for all ages, from toddlers (with parent participation) through adults. Our group lessons are organized by age and skill level to ensure the best learning environment for every swimmer.

No refunds once a class has started or facility use has begun, except with a medical excuse. Medical excuse refunds are prorated based on remaining sessions.

Please bring a swimsuit, towel, and goggles. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early. Swim caps are optional but encouraged for children with longer hair.

Yes. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. All participants swimming without parental or guardian supervision must be over 14 years of age.

No, outside swim lessons are not permitted at the Murrieta aquatics center. All swim instruction must be through our programs.
